*TUES, JAN 7 - MOVIE NIGHT AT CANYON MEADOWS CINEMA*

Big thanks to our Parents Squadron Sponsoring Committee (SSC) for planning a squadron movie night to welcome you back!

- DATE: Tuesday, January 7, 2025

- LOCATION: Canyon Meadows Cinema 13226 Macleod Trail #110, Calgary, AB T2J 7E5

- TIME: Arrive at 1830, Movie starts at 1900, Pick Up at 2100

- DRESS: Civilian, no uniforms

- MOVIE: Inside Out 2

- WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: Parents/Guardians must pick up and drop off cadets. The movie ticket is covered for all cadets. Bring cash or card if you'd like to purchase snacks/drinks. Arrive on time to ensure we move through the concession lines prior to the movie starting.

*Reminder* How we conduct ourselves in public is a direct representation of the Air Cadet Program and there will be no tolerance for misbehaviours or damaged property. Please continue to be mindful and represent 83 Juno Beach with pride and respect.

Here's a recap of important upcoming training information. Location for all these activities will be at Shepard Community Hall as per usual.

1. Monday, Nov 18 (Tonight)

  • In the interest of weather, Optional Training has been CANCELLED tonight.

2. Tuesday, Nov 19

  • Dress: FTUS

  • Period 1 & 2: Squadron Drill Practice

  • Period 3: Mess Dinner Etiquette and Traditions

3. Tuesday, Nov 26

  • Dress: Physical Training (PT) Gear, bring a water bottle

  • Cadet Fitness Assessment Let by F/Sgt Einarson

4. Tuesday, Dec 3

  • Dress: Festive Wear, Ugly Holiday Sweaters or Civilian Clothing

  • 83 Juno Beach Holiday Hoopla! Cadets will enjoy fun, festive activities with the whole squadron. There will be prizes for the best holiday 'fit.

5. Saturday, Dec 7

  • Sgts & Above Only: Seniors Team Building & Parade Sequence Practice

6. Tuesday, Dec 10

  • Christmas Mess Dinner

  • More details to follow.

Following the mess dinner on Dec 10, there will be no training until the new year.
