WELCOME BACK - REGISTRATION FOR 2025/2026 CADET YEAR

WELCOME BACK!

It’s that exciting time of the year again, 83 Juno Beach! Our first night back is on Tuesday, September 2 for Registration and Validation night. There will be a dedicated uniform night for exchanges later in September.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW FOR TUES, SEPT 2 – VALIDATION NIGHT

What is registration and validation night? It’s a dedicated night to complete all administrative tasks and signing mandatory forms. All returning and new cadets are required to fill out forms with a parent/guardian present. No forms are permitted to be sent home.

TIME: Doors open at 1900hrs and closed at 2100hrs

Cadets are asked to arrive at LHQ (Sheperd Community Hall) after 1900 hrs. You are not required to be there for the entire night. Once your forms are complete, you are free to go. Please be prepared to wait for your turn as we process each cadet. Your patience is appreciated. We have tried staggered times in the past and find this is a more efficient process for us to complete a large volume of administrative tasks.

LOCATION: LHQ – Sheperd Community Hall 10800 84 St SE, Calgary, AB T3S 0A5

DRESS: Civilian Clothing (Only Seniors are to be in FTUs)

RETURNING CADETS: Parent/Guardian and cadet must be present
• Complete annual validation forms, ensure all information is up to date and correct.
• Complete DHQ (Detailed Health Questionnaire) if required
• Parent/Guardian and Cadet Sign Code of Conduct

NEW CADETS: Parent/Guardian and cadet must be present
• Bring Government Issued ID and Alberta Health Care Card (originals or originals with photocopy)
• Double check application OR fill out new cadet application
• Parent/Guardian and Cadet Sign Code of Conduct
• Get measured for uniforms

CADETS WHO ARE NOT RETURNING

If you are not returning to the program, please ensure you return your washed uniform parts on Sept 2 in a labelled bag with your first and last name.

We will NOT be issuing any uniform exchanges or new uniform parts on Sept 2. There will be a dedicated uniform night for exchanges later in September.

All questions can be directed to 83air@cadets.gc.ca

We look forward to an exciting year ahead! See you soon.
