Great news, the International Air Cadet Exchange is back on and is being offered this summer. Select Royal Canadian Air Cadets are being offered an opportunity to attend the US Civil Air Patrol Officer School at Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama this summer. Please read the attached information carefully. If you are interested and meet the eligibility requirements, send an email to Capt Pritchard (david.pritchard@cadets.gc.ca). The deadline for application is Tuesday, 26 Mar 24.

Effective Speaking Competition - March 18

Please be advised, the Effecting Speaking team will be conducting a competition today, Monday, March 18. All participants have been notified of the appropriate timings by Sgt Goyal and F/Cpl Garg.

Therefore, Regular Effective Speaking training is *cancelled* for all cadets in Effective Speaking who are *not* participating in the competition. Only cadets participating in the Effective Speaking Competition should attend Effective Speaking training tonight. All other optional training will carry on as per normal.

2024 Summer Training Opportunities

We’ve put together the 2024 Summer Training Brochure, which is attached. We have good news and bad news. First the bad – there will be no Level 1 summer training for 2024. The Regional Cadet Support Unit NW will be looking for extra training opportunities for the Level 1 cadets during the regular training year. The good news is that Level 2 training will be offered at the Cadet Training Centres this summer. Note that some interesting Virtual Training courses are now being offered!
